Atlantic Crossing – Day 16
The end of our trip is now in sight! We are currently
only 200nm from our destination of Gustavia, St Barths. During the last
24 hours we have finally been seeing a fantastic 15-25 knot breeze, pushing us
300nm at an average speed of 12.5 knots. Chris, Larry, and Justin saw our
highest speed of the trip, 18.3 knots, this morning.
Assuming we maintain a decent speed, we should arrive in St
Barths sometime tomorrow afternoon. Although it has been a great trip,
both the crew and Tom are looking forward to seeing dry land again. We
are all looking forward to the start of an action-packed Caribbean season!
